Brahms evening in support of Spirewatch
Posted On June 14, 2014
Ganing and I spent a wonderful Friday evening in the lovely setting of St. Mary’s Church, Harrow on the Hill, listening to a Chamber Music concert performed by Friends of Harrow School in aid of Spirewatch.
We were treated to a superb performance of Brahams’ String Quartet in A minor, Op 51 No 2 and Piano Quintet in F minor, Op 34, the latter featuring the fabulously-talented Aristo Sham, a music scholar at Harrow School.
Young, though he is, Aristo Sham is destined to be one of the world’s great pianists.
